A no frills place on a main road that at first glance looks like a greasy spoon, Tun Tuns offers attentive Bangladeshi cooking at delightfully affordable prices. The menu is not exclusively veggie – among the fried street snacks and dals you’ll find fish and chicken curries. But they are not the reason to trek up to this simple cafe. The dosas with a fresh sambar and coconut chutney are the brunch lure. No website, no alcohol licence (settle for a luscious mango lassi) and it closes usually at 8pm.
