This 20 seat restaurant which resides in The Artist Residence Hotel in Regency Square is the first permanent venture from the former head chefs of the Gingerman and the Ginger Pig. Starting off as a pop-up, this hidden gem is now a permanent resident on the Brighton eating out scene. Receiving critical acclaim and a clamour for the limited tables, the food is described as ‘seasonal food to make you smile’. Diners can choose from three tasting menus with prices ranging from £29 - £35. With seasonal, local ingredients you can expect exciting, creative dishes such as garlic mushrooms, truffle, smoked curd & marjoram and rabbit, crispy mash, carrot, rarebit & gravy and desserts resembling works of art. Drinks come from ‘The Cocktail Shack’ - the quirky bar is actually a ‘shack’ set within the hotel and next to the restaurant and has already gained a name for itself as the place to go for a great cocktail.
