One of Brighton’s snuggest, most beautiful bar spaces delivers big time on the drinks. Settle into a vintage cinema seat or leather lounger, admire the Renaissance inspired wall art and summon a bespoke cocktail in a retro milk bottle before smiling madly at all around you. It’s that kind of place. The beer, spirits and wine choice isn’t half bad, too, but it’s the cocktail wizardry, at decent prices for this quality (around the £8 mark), you’re here for. Anyone for a Gin Jam Fizz with strawberry and black pepper jam – or a Ginger and Chilli Martini with El Jimador? If the Twenties string soundtrack ain’t your ting, check out the rather chic seated outdoor area, maybe with another Martini or perhaps a Mai Tai, and dream of summer.
