Cafeteria style fast food the veggie way, now in two venues. It may resemble some less idealistic (or should that be Iydealistic?) eateries, but few pay lip service to so many strictures: food must be made fresh from quality raw, natural ingredients, using only olive oil or high oleic sunflower oil, free range eggs, no GM, everything free from all artificial flavourings, preservatives and colours, while seeking to minimise any environmental impact with packaging and the like. All very worthy, but the food is delicious, too. Simple stuff such as pies, curry, falafel, pasta, chilli and salads. The formula has won Iydea Best Cafe in the Brighton and Hove Food Awards and the Vegetarian Society’s National Best Eating Out Award.
